Amanda Riley

I am a SoCal based Boudoir & Portrait Photographer for those who want an out of the box, artistic, photography experience. I’m also a 30-something fire wife and mama to a wild 4.5 year old boy, and sweet 10 week old baby girl….

Over the past 12+ years I’ve photographed hundreds of people. But my photography journey started as an 8-year-old girl, when I wanted nothing more than to be an oceanographer - because I thought it was an “ocean photographer” (silly..but adorable….ammiright?). In college I pursued a degree in Photography from UC Santa Cruz and after graduating helped co-teach an intro to photography class of 300+ students.

I love shooting all sorts of pivotal life experiences, but these days I mostly shoot boudoir and women’s portraits 40+ (with a dash of family, newborn, and maternity).  I believe that you and your loved ones are perfect as you are, and that there is nothing more important than capturing the essence of these special moments!

I can usually be found soaking up the sun at the beach, snuggling my baby while binge watching Rescue Me, playing in the ocean, doing yin yoga in my dark bedroom after the kids go to sleep, or baking chocolate chip cookies for my husband (jk mostly for me)
